MSP Equipment Rentals can trace its origin back to 1986 when Michael Cassidy Sr. started his painting company, Cassidy
Painting Inc., Commercial Painting and Sandblasting. Through the years Mike developed a need for aerial lifts and became annoyed
at the lack of service he experienced when dealing with large rental companies. He discovered that their was a lack of
customer appreciation .In turn he purchased an assortment of boom and electric scissor lifts for company use. While
on the job sites Mike received numerous calls from other contractors as well as friends and fellow business owners
to take over the rentals on these lifts.
Mike noticed that there was a demand for aerial lift rentals along with
customer satisfaction. He realized through general conversation with fellow contractors that the demand was even bigger than
he thought. One by one he purchased equipment and grew the fleet up to what it is today. After consulting with his wife, Lisa,
they decided to name it MSP after his their kids Michael, Shannon, and Patrick. At that point in time Mike committed
the business to serve contractors the way that he would want to be served.
Since then MSP has steadily grown and
become a strong competitor in the aerial lift rental industry. The company thrives on its wonderful customer
base and looks forward to future growth.
